Returning to Perth for the first time in 20 years to join in the festivities of the West Coast leg of EVEN’S "Less is More" anniversary celebrations - HEADER are coming home!!
The two bands toured Australia extensively in 1996 on the back of their respective debut album releases and quickly developed a close rapport. After a stellar sell out show together in Melbourne late last year all talk turned to the West. HEADER’S vocalist informs us that "The harmonies are fine-tuned, guitars are firing, and the rhythm section pumping - we are so ready to rock!."
These shows also mark the relaunching of EVEN’S debut album ‘Less Is More’ as it celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and will give fans the chance to hear all the classics from the seminal album including the three hit singles, ‘Don’t Wait’, ‘Peaches and Cream’ and ‘Stop and Go Man’.
In 1996, EVEN released their widely anticipated debut album ‘Less Is More’ through Rubber Records. The album was critically acclaimed and received an ARIA nomination for Best Independent release, and the band were named Rolling Stone Hot Band of the Year. The reissue of ‘Less Is More’ will be on vinyl only and available at all shows.
For all fans purchasing a ticket in advance, EVEN are offering every presale ticket holder a free 7" picture disc with ‘Don't Wait’ from their debut album ‘Less is More’ on one side, and their latest single ‘Little Piece’ on the other. Both songs have been previously unavailable on vinyl.
