With Special Guests The Southern River Band, Corduroy Club & Ben Augero!
Fresh off the back of a trailblazing first year of formation supporting artists such as Sampa The Great, Remi and Koi Child as well as taking home first place in the annual Big Splash Competition, POW! Negro are proud to announce their highly anticipated second single in the form of ‘Hidle Ho’.
‘Hidle Ho’ serves as the follow-up to this year’s ‘Racketball’ and sees the band merging jazz and hip-hop elements with an aggressive vocal style that falls somewhere between the energetic bounces of Zac De La Rocha and the funk come street verses of Mos Def all coming together in the bedroom-recorded sophomore track. The six piece hit the stage hard and capture punters with their explosive energy and memorable live performance.
POW! Negro will be launching ‘Hidle Ho’ in what will be their first headline performance at Mojos Bar Fremantle. Support comes from The Southern River Band, Corduroy Club & Ben Augero. Judging from their trajectory and capacity-filled rooms over the last year, this will be a show not to miss.
